News : A mother climbs the ports of La Vuelta to inform her professional son
It is well known that a mother does anything for her children but what we have not seen, at least to date, is to a mother cycling mountain passes to benefit your professional child.
This is the story of Jeanette Salmon and her son Martin (Team Sunweb). A story that RTVE made known in the present Tour of Spain and that in such an atypical year will undoubtedly remain one of the funniest anecdotes of the season.
The young cyclist, who turned 23 yesterday, makes his debut on a grand tour and cannot have better support than his own mother.
A mother who hours before the stages he is dedicated to cycling up the mountain passes through which the end of the stage will pass. In this way you can inform your child of what he will find along the way.
The curious thing about the case is that as a result of the security measures by the Covid 19 mother and son have to see each other from a distance. Jeanette can’t break the bubble of protection but this it does not prevent you from helping your child by detailing each and every one of the dangers that may later appear in the race.
At the moment Martin is still far from the top positions but it is not surprising seeing the hardness of the route and the extraordinary level of the first riders.
Would you do this for your son?
