A runner kills a man with shots and injures an agent in Llinars
It has happened in Llinars del Vallès, a peaceful town in the Vallès Oriental region that has probably lived one of the blackest episodes in its history. A man died Thursday shot down on the AP-7 as it passes through this valleys town. Apparently, the victim was talking with a local police patrol of the town of less than 10,000 inhabitants when another subject, who was jogging and was dressed in ‘runner’ clothing, took out a gun and fired eight shots that ended the life of the man and wounded the agent, who was saved thanks to the bulletproof vest.
Apparently it is a confidant
Sources familiar with the case point out that the victim, a confidant, was talking to a patrol of the Local Police of Llinars del Vallès when the aggressor has drawn the gun. A version that has not been confirmed by the Mossos de Esquadra or the Police.
Then, the author of the shooting, of thin complexity and 1.70 meters high or so, he has run away running down a forest path in the area that leads to a road linking Llinars del Vallès with Vilalba Sasserra. According to La Vanguardia, the confidant would be betraying criminals from an armed gang dedicated to extortion and kidnappings that used short arms and high-end vehicles. The Mossos d'Esquadra have opened an investigation for homicide and are looking for the author of the shots.
