Copa América: Argentina beat Venezuela - now Brazil is waiting
In the semi-final of the Copa América it comes to a duel between Brazil and Argentina. The Argentines prevailed in the quarter-finals in Rio de Janeiro 2: 0 (1: 0) against Venezuela. In the Maracanã Stadium of Rio, Lautaro Martínez took the lead from a corner from Sergio Agüero in the tenth minute. Giovani Lo Celso scored the second goal in the second half (74th minute).
Hosts Brazil had previously reached the semi-final round of the South American Championship by beating Paraguay 4: 3 (0-0).
The semi-final will be kicked off at night on Wednesday (2.30 pm, stream: Dazn). Thus, Argentina's superstar Lionel Messi has the further chance of his first international title with the Albiceleste. Argentina had already made it to the final in the last two Copa tournaments - both times Messi and his teammates lost to Chile, each on penalties.
