News : DFB squad at a glance – this is how Germany will play at the EM 2021

The European football championship takes place from June 11th to July 11th, 2021 instead of. It is the first pan-European European Championship in history. 24 nations fight for the title. Due to the corona pandemic, Uefa has increased the squad size from 23 to 26 players per team.

German squad for the EM 2021: This is the DFB squad

National coach Joachim Löw used the increase to bring Thomas Müller and Mats Hummels back into the DFB team. The coach had sorted out the duo together with Jerome Boateng after the World Cup disaster in Russia in 2018 in the course of a change.

In the squad, however, top performers such as goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen (due to injury) and BVB captain Marco Reus (canceled) are missing. Löw has nominated these 26 players for the EM:
