National coach Joachim Löw has appointed after the failure of injured striker Leroy Sané first time Luca Waldschmidt in the squad of the German national football team.

The 23-year-old from Freiburg counts after a strong U21 European Championship in the summer, in which he scored seven goals top scorer, the 22-member squad for the European Championship qualifiers on 6 September in Hamburg against the Netherlands and three days later in Belfast against Leader Northern Ireland.
