Double of infarction of Playas de Castellón in the Championship of Spain of clubs

The Playas de Castellón Athletics Club has achieved a historic milestone this afternoon with the double achieved in the Championship of Spain of Clubs, whose finals, male and female, have taken place in Soria and Zaragoza respectively.
It was an afternoon of true infarction for national athletics. Without the foci of the great international meetings, this sport continues to be claimed at our borders with an increasingly higher average level and the proof of this have been these two great endings.
Historical female triumph
While in the men's competition, the Castellon team has added its eleventh consecutive title, the most shocking news has occurred in the Aragonese capital, where the girls of the Beaches have ended the spectacular reign of Valencia Esports, champions the last 27 years (since 1993).
In addition, in the case of females, the outcome could not have been more exciting. In the absence of the two relay events, Barça and Valencia dominated on a beach in expectation, however, everything has changed in just ten minutes. In the 4 × 100, the azulgrana set lost the baton and finished in last position, running out of options.
And the final bombing came in the 4 × 400, a race in which Valencia seemed to certify his triumph, however, a subsequent disqualification left the victory in Castellón. They argued the Valencian, but it did not help, his reign was history.
Great individual performances
Along the way, they highlighted, among the men, Álvaro Martín shined in the 5,000 meters march, Aleix Porras in the 400 hurdles, with the second best European brand of the year, Javier Cienfuegos in the hammer or the exhibition of the Ecuadorian Alex Quiñónez in the 200 meters, stopping the clock at 20.60 leaving completely in the last meters.
In the women's competition, the champions highlighted Paula Sevilla and her fabulous performance in the 200 meters or Patricia Sarrapio, who flew until 14.28 in the triple jump. That and the regularity in most of the tests ended up propitiating the first female title in the history of Playas de Castellón.
