Eintracht Frankfurt moves confidently into the next round of Europa League qualification. The 1-0 home win by Adi Hütter's team against FC Vaduz, however, is overshadowed by the serious injury of the Frankfurt captain Marco Russ.

Eintracht Frankfurt: Trapp - Toure, Russ (37th Hinteregger), Ndicka - Durm, Torro, Rode (71st Kamada), Chandler - de Guzman, Gacinovic (66th Paciencia) - Joveljic
FC Vaduz: Büchel - Sülüngöz, Schmid, Simani - Dorn, Wieser, Prokopic, Göppel - Cicek, Coulibaly - Sutter
Gates: 1: 0 De Guzman (32)
The essentials in brief: Eintracht Frankfurt has, as expected, made it into the play-offs of the Europa League. The Hessen were content in the return match of the third qualifying round on Thursday with a 1-0 (1-0) against FC Vaduz, after the team of coach Adi Hütter had won the first leg 5-0 in Liechtenstein a week ago. The goal was scored by Jonathan de Guzman (32nd minute).
The concord, however, had to put off the injury of Marco Russ. The defender suffered an unaffected Achilles tendon and has now expected a break of at least six months.
