American football is also enjoying increasing popularity in Germany. Since 1979, the sport is also organized in Germany in the first Bundesliga. For example, on 27.04.2019 the German Football League (GFL) started the season opener in the 41st season.
GFL 2019: This is the first Bundesliga in American football
The GFL is organized in a north and south group with eight teams each. At the end of the season, the four best-placed teams play in playoffs for the entry into the German Bowl. This is the name of the final of the German championship in the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt am Main. Last year, the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns took the German Bowl for the fourth time. Whether they will defend their title this year?

There is no regular broadcasting of German football games on TV. Only the final, the German Bowl, on 12.10.2019 will be live on Free-TV on Sport1 and the well-known Live streams of the sports channel. But do not worry: football fans can be on the side of GFL watch all games in both the live stream and the radio stream.
