News : Haaland-Papa and consultant Raiola demand mega-bonus for transfer – report
Erling Haaland is arguably one of the most sought-after strikers in the world. The 20-year-old has quickly become the focus of international top clubs at BVB. So it’s no wonder that his father Alf-Inge and his advisor Mino Raiola have already started talks with other clubs.
A few days ago, for example, pictures showed the Haaland dad and Raiola at the airport in Barcelona, picked up by a black limousine from the Messi Club. First negotiations regarding a possible Haaland transfer to Barca were started.
Haaland-Papa and consultant Raiola are asking for a million dollar bonus
As the well-informed and Barcelona-based radio station “Rac1” reports, Alf-Inge Haaland and Raiola are supposed to demand a gigantic premium – for themselves! According to this, a transfer only comes about if the receiving club puts a 40 million euro premium on the table – 20 million euros for Alf-Inge Haaland and 20 million euros for consultant Raiola.
In addition, an estimated transfer fee of 150-180 million euros and an annual salary of around 30 million euros would be due. The total financial volume of a possible Haaland deal could therefore amount to up to 400 million euros – depending on the transfer fee and the duration of the contract.
The gigantic numbers at Mino Raiola are no coincidence. The Italian is one of the most successful players’ agents and is known for negotiating princely salaries for his clients and himself.
The 53-year-old looks after Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Matthijs de Ligt, Marco Verratti, Romelu Lukaku – and Erling Haaland, among others.
