How the new restrictions in Catalonia affect outdoor exercise

At the moment, the restrictions in Catalonia on outdoor exercise will not affect almost

We wished with all our hearts not having to rewrite this type of news, but the situation (and the unconsciousness of many) has pushed us back to the point of reaching levels of Phase 2 of the de-escalation. It is extremely sad to have to use words like confinement, de-escalation, phases, etc., but it seems that we will have to get used to it again.

The point is that the Government of the Generalitat, seeing the increase in new infections by coronavirus in recent weeks, has been forced to take a series of measures to try to contain this boom in new cases in the most conflictive areas: the region of Segrià and La Noguera and Barcelona and its first crown in the metropolitan area (El Prat de Llobregat, Viladecans, Sant Joan Despí, Sant Boi, Cornellà, Sant Just Desvern, Esplugues, Montcada i Reixac, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Sant Adrià de Besòs and Badalona).

How do these ‘recommendations affect?

This brings us to a new scenario before which we have to ask ourselves (again) how these restrictions will affect outdoor exercise. Now we had returned to a ‘semi open bar’ where you could train in a group, anytime, anywhere. It should be noted that all that the Generalitat has launched are ‘recommendations’, not prohibitions. In this way, it is 'recommended' to leave the house only for essential activities.

Among the things that this list of recommendations does not include, is that of ‘Carry out meetings and leisure and sports activities with our usual group of coexistence’. In this way, we understand that the training groups, clubs, etc., that have been training together can continue to do so as long as it is done in an orderly manner and sharing it with our regular people, waiting for the order to appear in the next DOGC. (Official Journal of the Generalitat de Catalunya) in a little more detail. In principle (and we pray that it does not pass from here) this would be all the restriction that would affect the practice of the sport.
