News : Marathon Valencia presents New Balance as new official technical sponsor
No one is outside the New Balance movement when it comes to sponsorships. And the growth that the Boston-based brand is experiencing is brutal. To New Balance’s exclusive family of great marathons, the TCS New York City Marathon and the Virgin Money London Marathon, there is now the third fastest marathon in the world, the Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP Marathon.
The Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP Marathon and the American sports company New Balance have signed a new multi-year collaboration agreement that will begin at this year’s edition.
New Balance will, therefore, be the firm in charge of dressing the thousands of runners who will participate in the next editions of the Valencia Marathon, as well as the large line-up of volunteers and organization. This agreement includes other very important fields of action such as sponsorship of events, plans for the promotion of running and the marketing of merchandising for the event.
The international firm arrives in Valencia with the intention of helping to project the worldwide image of the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon through different and multiple actions, as it has carried out for years in London or New York, marathons with the Platinum label of the World Athletics, as well as Valencia.
Paco Borao, director of the Valencia Marathon, assured that “We are especially excited about this union with one of the top firms in the world and, which also allows us to be together with two marathons, such as London and New York with which we have a special relationship. Not surprisingly, we shared the date of the first marathon with London and the New York Road Runners, the organizing club, were the inspiration for our SD Road Runner ”.
