News : MotoGP 2021 in Mugello, Italy: All results from the Grand Prix – practice, qualifying and race

There are five races in the motorcycle-WM 2021 already completed, now the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 the sixth race of the season. From May 28th to 30th, 2021, the elite from MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 will be in Mugello, Italy, to take part in this year’s Grand Prix of Italy to choose the front runner.

On Saturday, one day before the races for the Italian Grand Prix, the training runs continued in Mugello. In Moto3 Andrea Migno set the best time with 1: 56.234, the second placed Jaume Masia missed the top position by just 0.124 seconds. Gabriel Rodrigo crossed the finish line in third with 1: 56.389.

In the third training session of MotoGP, Francesco Bagnaia was able to build on his top performance from the second training session. The Italian from Team Ducati finished with 1: 45.456 and left Fabio Quartararo (+ 0.157) and Brad Binder (+ 0.196) behind.

Raul Fernandez (Red Bull KTM Ajo) finished the third training run of Moto2 as fastest with a time of 1: 50.616, followed by Remy Gardner (1: 50.770) and Sam Lowes (1: 50.793) on Saturday morning.

Francesco Bagnaia was 0.071 seconds faster than Alex Rins in MotoGP’s second free practice session for the Italian GP in Mugello on Friday with a time of 1: 46.147 minutes. Franco Morbidelli finished third on the Yamaha M1.

In the Moto2 racing class, it was Sam Lowes who crossed the finish line first in the second training run with a 1: 51.385. Raul Fernandez (1: 51.569) and Jorge Navarro (1: 51.693) followed.

In the Moto3 drivers’ second free practice session, Darryn Binder was able to assert himself against his rivals, the Petronas Sprinta Racing driver was first with a time of 1: 56.661. Dennis Foggia (Leopard Racing) crossed the finish line in second place with 1: 56.857, followed by John McPhee with 1: 56.942.

In the first training runs for the Italian Grand Prix in Mugello, Maverick Vinales took the lead in MotoGP. Vinales crossed the finish line with a time of 1: 46.593, ahead of Johann Zarco (+ 0.209) and Alex Rins (+ 0.359).

In the first free practice of Moto2, Joe Roberts (Italtrans Racing Team) was able to prevail against his competitors. Second placed Remy Gardner (+ 0.238) and third placed Sam Lowes (+ 0.258) could not beat his best time of 1: 51.746.

In Moto3, it was Andrea Migno who came out on top in the first free practice session on Friday. The Rivacold Snipers Team racing driver raced across the finish line on his Honda with 1: 57.724, ahead of Romano Fenati (+ 0.495) and Jauma Masia (+ 0.663).
