Nabil Fekir moves to Betis Sevilla for 20 million euros
Betis Sevilla commits Nabil Fekir
Midfielder Nabil Fekir has been paired with a number of European top clubs over the past few months: Juventus, Liverpool, AC Milan, SSC Napoli, Arsenl and FC Bayern are all thinking about the French World Champion. But now changes the star of Olympique Lyon to Betis Sevilla in the Spanish Primera División and thus renounced the opportunity to play Champions League.
Betis took tenth place last season and therefore will not play international in the coming season. The club of former Dortmund's Marc Bartra paid for the 26-year-old Fekir a transfer fee in the amount of 20 million euros, which may increase in the event of success by ten million euros. For a player of Fekir's qualities, despite a contract expiring in 2020, this is not a fair market price. Lyon embarked on the transfer because a free transfer would have threatened this summer. And because Betis should have responded to the demands of Fekir's father and advisor, the 21-time French international wanted to Seville.
As various international media report, also Yassin Fekir, the four years younger brother of Nabil, should switch to Betis. The striker was previously also under contract with Olympique Lyon, but played there mostly in the reserve and was previously only on a use in Ligue 1. Officially, the change is not yet, Betis previously announced only the transfer of Nabil Fekir.
Frankfurt is interested in Philipp
Maximilian Philipp will have a hard time coming on betting at Borussia Dortmund in the coming season. The variable offensive player has gotten new competitors for a regular place at BVB with Julian Brandt and Thorgan Hazard and is therefore considered one of the first candidates when it comes to the downsizing of the Dortmund squad. Meanwhile, the interest of VfL Wolfsburg was considered very concrete, but now has the Bundesliga distance from an obligation.
As reported by the "Bild" newspaper, but now opens up another possibility for Philipp. Eintracht Frankfurt need a striker after the departure of Luka Jovic (Real Madrid) and Sébastian Haller (West Ham United) and could soon make an offer for Philipp. The 25-year-old came for two years ago for 20 million euros from SC Freiburg to Dortmund, the BVB now demands a comparable transfer fee.
Arsenal should surely have Ceballos
Arsenal have only committed a player for the coming season with Brazilian talent Gabriel Martinelli. According to "BBC" the Gunners are now close to the next transfer, from Real Madrid comes supposedly Dani Ceballos. The central midfielder will be awarded for a year and will gather in London match practice. A purchase option should not include the agreement of the two clubs.
