No time slots for towns of up to 10,000 inhabitants
"Unexpected" news which has been announced by the Government of Spain this Sunday regarding outdoor activity. Within that phase of de-escalation in which we find ourselves immersed, the President Pedro Sánchez has transferred to the regional presidents a new measure that will begin to be implemented starting next Monday May 18.
Relief for athletes
Municipalities with up to 10,000 inhabitants that enter phase 1 will see the time slot for outdoor activities expanded. Until now, there were those with a maximum of 5,000 registered people who had no hourly limit, but now it is expanded to 10,000 as long as, we repeat, they pass this initial phase 0 in which the Community of Madrid, Barcelona and the metropolitan area will continue.
It is not a total libre open bar ’, but practically. You can practice outdoor sports from 6 in the morning until 11 at night, reason why the situation is very flexible and we are not necessarily going to see that avalanche of people walking at the same hours that we have been observing these last weeks. It is one more step towards the ‘new normality’ and certainly a relief for many regular athletes who had to stick their schedules and schedules to those specific strips.
