Philippe Coutinho to Bayern Munich? FC Barcelona clearly rejects bid
Barça apparently wants to send Coutinho to Paris
FC Barcelona should have rejected a bid by FC Bayern Munich for the loan of Philippe Coutinho. Neither the club nor the player are prepared to respond to the current offer, writes the Barcelona-based newspaper Mundo Deportivo. Until the transfer Bayern have but still time to improve the offer, it said.
Coutinho had come in early 2018 for an estimated more than 150 million euros from Liverpool FC to Barcelona, but could not prevail there. According to the information, Bayern Munich wants to borrow the 27-year-old Brazilian international for two years and with a call option.
The Catalans, however, seem interested in another deal in which Coutinho would be part of a recall by superstar Neymar. Barça is said to have made Paris Saint-Germain several offers, but had been rejected. Recently it was said that PSG wanted to have 100 million euros from the Catalans and Coutinho, the Portuguese Nelson Semedo and another player.
Juve coach Sarri is apparently campaigning for Khedira whereabouts
Sami Khedira seems to continue playing Juventus. Coach Maurizio Sarri is said to have opted for a whereabouts of the defensive midfielder. At least that's what the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport writes.
Recently, Khedira, in which Wolverhampton Wanderers and Arsenal FC are said to have been interested, were beaten 2-1 in the Test against Atlético Madrid for Italy's champions. Juve would have liked to save in the new season Khedira's annual salary of an estimated six million euros, it goes on. Sarri insists, however, on the whereabouts of the world champion, who plays since 2015 in Turin and still has a two-year contract.
Stuttgart bring Japanese international
Second division VfB Stuttgart has committed Wataru Endo. The defensive midfielder was loaned until the end of the season by the Belgian first division side VV St. Truiden. The 26-year-old played so far 20 times for the national team. At the 2018 World Cup and at the Asian Championship in January, he was part of the Blue Samurai squad.
