The 'tightrope walker' Kilian Jornet gives us his most vertiginous 'sky running'
We are used to Kilian Jornet doing different things and that to most human beings it would mean a ‘shaking’ of legs and an anguish not comparable to anything. The Catalan mountain runner, who holds the record and has prevailed in most of the 'trail' tests of the international circuit, some time ago he began to 'lose' competitive interest and has transferred all his daring, talent and his imagination to impossible challenges like the two ascents to Everest without oxygen with just a week of margin between the two.
He also surprised a few months ago by assuring that he intended to run an asphalt test throughout 2020, something that we still do not have news about (the current context of uncertainty does not help).
What Kilian, a resident of the Norwegian fjords, has given us is another ‘vertigo’ ride through its Nordic mountains. Running more like a tightrope walker on a ridge that takes away the hiccups, with an impressive fall on both sides. Recorded with his inseparable GoPro, Kilian uses his hands and feet to help himself on uneven rocky terrain, gripping and offering us a brutal panoramic view of the 'garden' of his house. A video that we would never tire of seeing ...
