Tölzer Löwen - MacAulay goes - sports in the region

MacAulay moves from Tölz to Frankfurt in DEL 2, Kiefersauer is back

After Kyle Beach, who moves to the Hungarian club DVTK Jegesmedvék in the Slovak Extraliga, leaves Stephen MacAulay the Tölz lions. The 27-year-old, with 68 points in 58 games top scorer of the Tölzer, has joined in the DEL 2 last year's finalist Löwen Frankfurt. The departure MacAulays had suggested. The Canadian had actually hoped for a commitment in the DEL or the Austrian EBEL. In Frankfurt, he should close the gap left by Mathieu Tousignant. The 29-year-old moves to Jegesmedvék - where he is teammate of Kyle Beach.

New old team-mate in Tölz will be Christoph Kiefersauer. The 21-year-old striker returns to the Isar after three years in the DEL (Ingolstadt) and DEL 2 (Kaufbeuren, Deggendorf). "I am Tölzer, I was Tölzer and I always stay Tölzer," said Kiefersauer.
