Because of death no start at US Open
American tennis player Amanda Anisimova will not compete in the US Open in Flushing Meadows starting on Monday (until September 8, 2019). As the TV station ESPN reported, citing Anisimova's agents, she canceled her participation because of her father's sudden death. Konstantin Anisimov was her coach for many years. Amanda Anisimova had surprisingly reached the semi-finals at this year's French Open at the age of just 17, and is currently the youngest player in the world's 24th position among the 100 best in her sport.
