Wimbledon 2019: Hsieh Su-Wei and Barbora Strycova win doubles

Hsieh Su-Wei and Barbora Strycova have secured the title in the doubles final at Wimbledon. The Taiwanese and the Czech won 6: 2, 6: 4 against Gabriela Dabrowski from Canada and Xu Yi-Fan from China.
By winning without a set drop, the double was the first since Serena and Venus Williams in 2009 to get the title without losing a set on the way.
On Williams Strycova was hit in singles and eliminated in the semifinals. However, she wrote as the oldest semi-final debutant Wimbledon story.
Su-Wei had triumphed for the second time in the women's doubles from Wimbledon after 2013. At that time, she was victorious alongside Peng Shuai against Australians Ashleigh Barty and Casey Dellacqua.
For Taiwanese tennis it was a successful final on Sunday: Latisha Chan had won the mixed doubles title alongside Croatian Ivan Dodig earlier in the day after the duo won 6-2, 6-3 against Lett. Jelena Ostapenko and the Swede Robert Lindstedt had enforced.
