Wimbledon - Six Germans retire without set win - Sport

Davis Cup player Philipp Kohlschreiber clearly missed a surprise against defending champion Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon. The Augsburg defeated on Monday the Serbian tennis world ranking first in the first game on the Center Court 3: 6, 5: 7, 3: 6. After 2:02 hours Djokovic used his first match ball for the eleventh victory in the 13th comparison with the 35-year-old Kohlschreiber.
Boris Becker's former protégé is placed first and aims for his fifth Wimbledon title. For Kohlschreiber his 60th participation in one of the four Grand Slam tournaments ended on the opening day.
Mischa Zverev is subject to Steve Darcis
The earnings crisis of professional tennis player Mischa Zverev has continued in Wimbledon.
