Women's World Cup and Gold Cup: USA waving two titles on the same day

For the first time in the history of the US Football Association (USSF), both the women's selection and the men can win a title on the same day. After the women had won their World Cup semi-final against England on 2: 1 (2: 1) on Tuesday, the men moved on Wednesday in the Gold Cup by a 3-1 (1-0) victory against Jamaica.
Schalke-based Weston McKennie took the US team early in the lead in Nashville (9th minute). In the second half of the ex-Dortmunder Christian Pulisic increased to 2: 0 for the Americans (52).
